Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to obtain the coat having a suprior uniformity of coat thickness, by applying electrodeposition coating on the surface of Al material which is treated by the substrate treatment as the usual method by a direct electric current having a constant current density.
CONSTITUTION: After performing the substrate treatment, such as anodic oxidation, of Al by the usual method, electrodeposition coating is applied by turning on a direct electric current having a constant current density using said Al material as anode. On this occasion, a constant direct current coating is applied, for example, at 10W80mA/dm2, preferably 20W50mA/dm2, mean current density using carbon or stainless steel as cathode.
