Abstract

PURPOSE: To maintain exactly the target revolution number of engine irrespective of secular change of engine by a procedure in which the hot condition of engine is detected by a water temperature sensor to determine the target revolution number of the engine and then a motor-driven actuator consisting of a DC motor is controlled through a control circuit.
CONSTITUTION: The motor-driven actuator 300 is provided to a lever by which to open or close the throttle valve 204 of the carbureter 200. And, the temperature of warmed-up engine is detected by the water temperature sensor 500, and then trigger signal of the ignition coil 700 is sent to the control circuit 400 where a deviation from a target revolution number is detected. The control signal is sent to said actuator 300, the DC motor 301 is driven and its revolution number is transmitted through a decelerator consisting of the gear 304 to the screw 305 and the screw nut 306 to convert it into a linear movement. In this way the throttle valve 204 is controlled and the amount of intake air is controlled in order to control the revolution number of the engine 100 to the target value all the time.
