Abstract

PURPOSE: To detect an abnormal cable conductor which is broken or causes contact while taking the measurement of a conductor diameter accurately and rapidly by finding and checking the conductor-resistance-value ratio of a cable core group to some cores of the group.
CONSTITUTION: The block diagram shows the constitution of a check unit and wind starting terninal 5 and the wind ending terminal of core L of a quad to be measured are shown. In case of the breaking of wire, conductor resistance R is infinite and then any voltage (v) is developed.
