Abstract
PURPOSE: To enhance durability, mechanical strength, and adhesion, by forming an insulating layer consisting mainly of a curable resin containing lauryl ester of acrylic or methacrylic acid.
CONSTITUTION: Lauryl ester of acrylic acid or methacrylic acid is mixed into a curable resin to form a film. Lauryl ester of acrylic or methacrylic acid is called lauryl acrylate or methacrylate, having a structural formula represented by formula I. It has a lauryl group, and addition of it to a curable resin improves wettability to a face attached closely, and enhances adhesion with the attached face because of imparting flexibility to the cured resin, etc., thus permitting adhesion to be raised, peeling to be prevented, and therefore, durability to be enhanced.
