Abstract

PURPOSE: To smoothen the restart and stop of material transfer from the bottom to the top of a filter cylinder using a lift by having a direct opening of auxiliary air outlet at the middle of transfer pipe.
CONSTITUTION: According to transfer start direction, the main air valve 16 is opened to cause the auxiliary air 10 to be blown off from an auxiliary air outlet 11 fluidize or lift sand in transfer pipe 7. A timer direction, after making sure delay time, opens a principal air valve 15 so that the principal air 12 is blown off from a principal air blow off port 13 to maintain a steady condition. The principal air blow off port 13 is located below an inlet 14 of the transfer pipe 7 separated by distance d1 where d1 is determined to provide the maximum transfer quantity at a given air quantity.
