Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the surface of a building panel from being marked due to the steps of a lower mold caterpillar, by winding a soft belt around the lower mold caterpillar which is for producing the foamed layer of the building panel and by winding a steel belt around the soft belt. CONSTITUTION:An upper and a lower mold caterpillars 3, 4 are provided in face of each other. A soft belt 5 and a steel belt 6 are wound between the lateral frame lugs 8 of the lower mold caterpillar 4. A mold separating belt 11 is wound around the upper mold caterpillar 3. After a base plate 9 is fitted on the steel belt 6, resin is injected in between both the caterpillars 3, 4 by a pouring head 10 to produce a foamed resin layer 2 to manufacture a building panel 1. The panel is prevented by the steel belt 6 from being marked due to the steps of the lower mold caterpillar 4. Since the soft belt 5 is provided, the thickness of the steel belt 6 can be reduced and the diameter of drums 7 can be therefore decreased.
