Abstract

PURPOSE:To accurately maintain a position relation with respect to a photoreceptor by providing a photoreceptor unit set with a belt photoreceptor in an endless state, guide means for 2-point support, etc. while supporting the plural rollers including a drive roller with a pair of frames. CONSTITUTION:A pair of stationary rails 5, 6 are held secured at two points 3, 4 of a supporting table in the copying machine and a pair of guide rails 7, 8 are fitted slidably with these rails. Guide rails 7, 8 are mounde in extension to the outside bottom side of a photoreceptor unit 2 in the form that said unit 2 is placed thereon. Hence, in the supporting device of the above-mentioned constitution, not only the exertion of more than necessary load on a pair of the rails only as in the prior art is prevented but also the occurrence of deflection in the rails is obviated even if there is frequent moving in and out of the photorecepor unit 2 because the unit slides on the rails 5, 6 of two-point support. In this way, the unit is supported surely and firmly.
