Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The resin whose melting point is higher enough than that of the resin becoming a forming material and which has the good releasing property is inserted as an insert for forming into a metal mold and thereby a hole is made at the same time when thermosetting resin, and after that, the insert for forming is drawn out of a formed article. From an economical and technological point of view, such an insert that is fitted to form in the formed article a narrow hole of 0.2W20mm in diameter and 0.5W1,000mm in length is applicable. As for the synthetic resin used for forming and processing, there are phenolic resin, epoxy resin, silicone resin and the like. As for the heat-resisting resin used for the insert, ethylene tetrafluoride, phenoxy resin, aromatic polyimide and the like can be used.
