Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily control the temperature at a predetermined value repeatedly and thereby improve the operation of the temperature controller for use with a dryer in which hot air is used by making use of a digital setting circuit which selects resistance values corresponding to desired temperatures of the hot air.
CONSTITUTION: In a temperature controller, a difference between the signal outputted from the setting circuit 8 and the signal outputted from a temperature detector 2 which detects the temperature of hot air is obtained by a differential amplifier 3. The output signal from the differential amplifier 3 is converted by a voltage- current converter 4 and a current-frequency converter 5 into a pulse signal. The pulse signal triggers a monostable multivibrator 6. The multivibrator 6 outputs a pulse signal to actuate an electromagnetic pump 7 for a preset time period so that liquid fuel is supplied to a burner bot shown in the drawing. The setting circuit 8 includes a digital setting device which selects one of a plurality of resistors RR1 to RR4 by its corresponding one of a plurality switches SW1 to SW4. The resistance value of the resistors RR1 to RR4 is respectively determined corresponding to four different hot air temperatures.
