Abstract

PURPOSE:To lighten an armature while to miniaturize a device by a method wherein the armature and a printing wire are arranged in a central portion of a yoke and magnet portions are arranged at an outer peripheral portion while magnetic flux is passed through a pair of comb portions at both sides of the armature. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical body 4 having a wire penetrating hole 3 is protrudingly provided at a center of a yoke 2 for a printing head 1 while a plurality of comb portions 5 are protrudingly provided at a back side thereof. An armature 6A insertingly arranged between these comb portions 5 is equipped integrally with an armature extension 6B to which a base portion of a printing wire 9 is secured at a tip thereof. The armature 6A is supported at one ends of two sheets of supporting springs 7a, 7b vertically intersecting at central portions thereof each other. A multitude of electromagnets 10 are provided radially at the back side of the yoke 2 and outside of the armature 6A so as to be corresponding to respective armatures 6A.
