Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the curl occurring at the leading edge of roll, by setting the decurl mechanism immediately before the roll paper for electrostatic recorder such as copy machine, facsimile, etc. is caught between a pair of rollers.
CONSTITUTION: When the leading edge of a roll paper 1 having convex curl comes immediately before a pair of drive rollers 6A, 6B, the shaft material is rotated in the direction of dushed arrow thus to fit the concave surface of decurl material 21 projecting from the circumferential member 18 of drive roller 6A with the surface of drive roller 6A. Consequently the leading edge of the roll paper 1 is corrected forcefully to become concave thus to prevent the occurrence of curl on the roll paper 1 after passing through roller sections 6A, 6B.
