Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the titled composition with high surface hardness obtained by hydrolyzing a cured coating formed by coating a resin composition comprising a silane compound containing a vinyl group and an alkoxy group and a crosslinking agent on a transparent substrate material.
CONSTITUTION: A resin composition comprising 30W95wt% of a silane compound containing a vinyl group and an alkoxy group in a molecule such as methacryloxymethyl-trimethoxysilane, 70W5wt% of a crosslinking agent having two or more of vinyl groups in a molecule such as diaryl-phthalate and a polymerization initiator is coated on a transparent substrate material such as glass or a transparent plastic and a cured coating is formed by irradiating ultraviolet rays or heating. Subsequently, this coated substrate material is immersed in an aqueous solution containing an acid catalyst to hydrolyze alkokysilane and a resin coating composition having antifogging property imparted thereto.
