Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the lubricating property and corrosion resistance, by secondarily electrolyzing porous anodic oxidation coating of aluminum or its alloy in the aqueous solution dissolved one kind or more of thiotungstate.
CONSTITUTION: Porous alumite coating is chemically formed by the anodic oxidation of aluminum or its alloy in the electrolyte, such as sulfuric acid, oxalic acid. Next, secondary electrolysis is performed in the electrolyte dissolved at least one kind or more of thiotangustate after washing by water. (NH4)2WS4, (NH4)WS2O2, K2WS4, K2WS2O, K2WS2O2 etc. are used as thiotangstate. Said coating can be colored of various color tones, such as yellow, light brown, dark brown or colorless, by controlling the quantity of electricity at the secondary electrolysis.
