Abstract
PURPOSE: To permit the simultaneous applications of vibration and back washing to a filter for the removal of dust by attaching a compressed air type vibrator to a clean air side and interlocking it with a covering plate provided to a clean air outlet.
CONSTITUTION: A dust-containing air enters from the suction port 4 provided in the dust hopper 3 into each of the filtering chambers 2, where dust is adhered to the periphery of the filter 1 and air is directed into the cleaning chamber 5 of each filtering chamber and then discharged through the aperture 6 and the duct 7 to the outside. When the amount of dust on the outer surface of the filter 1 is increased, an air pressure is supplied into the cylinder 20, the valve 19 closes the aperture 6, and at the same time the valve 11 is opened to operate the compressed air type vibrator 9 in order to vibrate a set of the filters 1. The compressed air consumed in the operation is released into the clea air chamber 5, where it flows from the inside of bag filter toward its outisde to completely separate dust being ready to separate from the periphery of the filter 1.
