Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the dust of a filter body to be effectively shaked off through simultaneous application of vibration and back pressure by providing a vibrator to a filter body mounting plate partitioning the clean air chamber and filtering chamber of a dust collecting apparatus and air nozzles in the clean air chamber.
CONSTITUTION: When the filter resistance increases on account of adhering of dusts on the outside surface of a filter body 1, dust shaking-off of the set of this filter body 1 is accomplished by the automatic operation of a control panel. More specifically, air pressure is supplied to the cylinder 20 of the set of that filter body 1, and a switch valve 19 closes the top end opening 21 of an opening cylinder 6; at the same time, a solenoid valve 12 is opened to jet the compressed-air from nozzle 13 into a clean air chamber 5. At this same instant, a vibrator 10 is operated and the filter bag is vibrated in a tense state by pressure air, whereby the dusts are effectively shaked off. Upon completion of the shaking-off, the vibrator 10 is stopped and the cylinder 20 operates, by which the valve 19 is automatically returned to the open state and the operation is resumed.
