Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare a colored resin having clear and transparent dark greenish blue color, and excellent heat resistance, light resistance, etc., and free from color change even by the high-temperature molding process, by compounding a thermoplastic resin with a specific anthraquinone dye.
CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic resin is compounded with 0.01W5wt%, pref. 0.01W1wt% of an anthraquinone dye of formula (R is H, lower alkyl or Cl). Combined use of 0.1W1wt% of titanium dioxide gives an opaque material.
EFFECT: Resistant to the molding at 300°C.
