Abstract
PURPOSE:To form the titled inexpensive apparatus easy to operate and maintain by dropping a gas generating org. liq. into a reaction decomposition passage provided with a catalyst body and a gas circulation agitating means. CONSTITUTION:Inside the wall of furnace 1 composed of shell 2 and fire brick 3, heating element 6, catalyst body 4 made of Ni wire net, Ni alloy baffle 5 covering body 4, fan 7 enclosed by Ni wire net 4', and dropping pipe 8 of the gas generating org. liq. dropping system are arranged. While regulating electromagnetic flow rate control valves 24, 25, 26 in accordance with control signal S1 obtd. by detecting the CO2 concn. of an atmospheric gas generated in furnace 1 with CO2 gas analyzer 44 and CO2 gas recording regulator 41, methanol, isopropanol-ethyl acetate mixed liq. and water are fed into furnace 1 kept at about 800-950 deg.C through mixer 30 and pipe 8, and they are thermally decomposed. The atmospheric gas is supplied to section 49 for heat treating steel products through outlet pipe 10, gas cooler 46, etc.
