Abstract

PURPOSE: To surely stretch wrinkles of a note in a direction at a right angle with respect to a conveying direction of the note, by providing a pair of screw shaped rollers consisting of left and right handed screws.
CONSTITUTION: A screw shaped roller 3 consists of a right handed screw roller 31 and left handed screw roller 32, and these rollers 31, 32 are coaxially fixed to a shaft 33. If the shaft 33 is rotated in a direction of conveying a note, screw threads 31a, 32a of each screw roller wound in a plurality of turns are moved in directions departing from each other. Accordingly when the note is allowed to rush into between the screw shaped rollers 31, 32 and a bearing roller 4 by belts 6, 7, the note can be stretched by the rotary shifting motion of the screw threads 31a, 32a toward a direction at a right angle with respect to its conveyed direction while being conveyed to correct its wrinkles or folds.
