Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain sharp composite copied images by laminating the 1st and 2nd photoconductive layers on a conductive substrate and so constituting these that at the time of irradiating A color light and B color light separately the 1st and 2nd photoconductive layers are made conductive respectively discretely.
CONSTITUTION: A photoreceptor 1 consists in laminating the 1st and 2nd photoconductive layers 11, 12 on a conductive substrate 10 and at the time when A color light is irradiated, the photoconductive layer 11 is mainly made conductive and when B color light is radiated the photoconductive layer 12 is mainly made conductive. These photoconductive layers 11, 12 are charged alternately oppositely, whereby the surface potential of the photoreceptor is made sufficiently large. Next, the exposure of the positive image by the B color light of image information X is so performed that the surface potential of the ground part becomes approximately zero, thence the writing of the negative image of the image information Y by the A color light on the ground part is performed, whereby the composite electrostatic latent images of the same polarity corresponding to the image information X, Y are formed. In this way, the sharp composite copied images may be obtained.
