Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a subject transfer foil which provides a transfer film having a solid feeling, by a method wherein a mold-releasing layer, an embossed pattern layer having a given thickness, a metal evaporation layer, and an adhesion layer are formed on a base sheet material.
CONSTITUTION: Cellulose polymer, a mold-release layer 2 of 0.1W2μ thick, such as wax or the like, a protection layer 3 of below 5μ thick, such as P.V.C., synthetic rubber and the like, where necessary, are laid on a base sheet material 1, such as polyester films, papers and the like, and an embossed pattern layer 4 which has thickness of 10W100μ and below 10μ difference in the height, a metal evaporation layer of 20W200mμ thick, such as Al, Au, Cr, etc., and an adhesion layer 6 consisting of thermoplastic synthetic resin adhesive agent, such as acryl, polyester, etc., are placed thereon. With said transfer foil adopted, a transfer film, which has a solid feeling that is clearly felt even when it is touched with hands, can be obtained.
