Abstract
PURPOSE: A pressure-sensitive adhesive that is produced by mixing an aqueous emulsion of a vinyl resin with another aqueous emulsion of multilayer-structured acrylic resin in a specific proportion, whereby the adhesive can be peeled off clearly from the substrate without sticking when peeled off and is free from peeling with the passage of time.
CONSTITUTION: (A) 30W85wt% of an aqueous emulsion of a vinyl resin, e.g., a copolymer resulting from emulsion polymerization of (a) an acrylate ester, (b) vinyl acetate, styrene and/or (c) acrylic or methacrylic acid with a glass transition point of -80W-50°C is mixed with (B) 15W30wt% of another aqueous emulsion of a multilayer structured acrylic resin, whose particles are composed of acrylic polymer layers different in chemical composition and composition ratios surrounding symmetrically the particle center to give the objective aqueous pressure-sensitive adhesive.
