Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the gas flow resistance, and to improve the heat insulating effect, by forming the gas way between the freezing mixture holding part and the exhaust gas introducing pipe into the ring type, by forming the gas way between the exhaust gas introducing pipe and the external cylinder into the ring type, in order to make the exhaust gas introducing pipe to play as the heat insulator.
CONSTITUTION: The titled cold trap is interposed between the gas exhausting system provided with the sucking device and the gas source to be evacuated by the sucking device; this cold trap consists of the internal cylinder 1 comprising the bottomed cylindrical freezing mixture holding part 1a and its outside exhaust gas introducing pipe 1b, and of the external cylinder 2 freely detachable from the internal cylinder 1. As a result, when the exhaust gas from the gas source is exhausted outside passing through the connecting pipe 1d, the gas way 1c, the exhaust gas introducing pipe 1b, the gas way 1e, and the connecting pipe 1f, the gas flow resistance is small, and besides, the exhaust gas introducing pipe 1b plays as the heat insulator, so that the inner surface of the external cylinder 2 is not required to be plated.
