Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable equalization wide in drawing-in range, by combining the first adjusting means using reception signals and the second adjusting means using identifying signals. CONSTITUTION:The reception signal 1 is converted into an identifying signal 4 via an accumulator 2 and a threshold value circuit 3. Further, the signal 1 is fed to integrators 11, 12 via delay elements 24, 25 and multipliers 9, 10 to obtain the self- correlation at the output. The signal 4 is subtracted from the accumulator 2 at a subtractor 15 to obtain an error signal. This error signal is added with the output of variable gain hold circuits 22, 23 at adders 21, 22 and is input to switching circuits 13, 14. The output of the circuits 13, 14 feeds the adjusted tap gain adjusted via tap gain hold circuits 22, 23 to a variable equalizer. Further, with the combination of rough control by a correlator and accurate control by the identifying signal, the equalization wide in drawing-range and high in the accuracy can be made.
