Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain stable pressure control and reasonable horse-power control in compliance with the externally commanded pressure by coupling a piston, to which the external command is applied through a spring, with one end of a spool of a servo valve and by introducing the discharge pressure of a pump to the other end.
CONSTITUTION: A piston 18, to which the externally commanded pressure Pi is applied through a spring 17, is coupled to one end of a spool 14 of a servo valve with a spring 19 interposed, and the dishcarge pressure of a pump is introduced to the other end 20. According to this arrangement, the rate of discharge of the pump increases if the discharge pressure of the pump is under a certain predetermined value, and the rate of discharge of the pump conforms to a horse-power diagram, which will be determined by the spring 19, if the discharge pressure lies between said predetermined value and a pressure in compliance with the external command, which is higher than said predetermined pressure, and, further, the rate of discharge of the pump decreases at a flowrate decreasing coefficient determined by the springs 17, 19 if the discharge pressure exceeds the external command. Thus, a stable pressure control following the external command and a reasonable horse-power control can be obtained.
