CONSTITUTION:To mount a distributor body 1 on an engine case 4, first a mounting plate 6 is fitted in a cylindrical part 2c of a housing 2 through the first hole 6a, and the cylindrical part 2c is inserted in an insertion hole 4b of the engine case 4 onto a mounting seat 4a. At the same time a bolt 5 is fitted in the second hole 6b of the mounting plate 6, and a nut 8 is screwed with the bolt 5 through a washer 9. Now the mounting plate 6 cannot be turned in the direction indicated by arrow and is thus fixed at a constant position on the case 4. Then, the body 1 is turned to the case 4, an engine ignition time is adjusted (set) normally, and then a roll pin 7 is pressed and fixed into the holes 6c, 2b.
