Abstract

PURPOSE:To considerably improve cleaning characteristic, abrasion resistance, lubricity, etc. by abutting the hard resin layer of the composite constituting body comprising an elastic rubber base body and hard resin layer on the surface of a photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION:The cleaning blade is manufactured by using polyurethane rubber of about 5mm. thickness, about 35mm. width and about 70 deg. hardness as an elastic rubber base body 1, and biaxially oriented polyethylene terephthalate of about 200mm. thickness as a hard resin layer 2, respectively, making the offset amount of the layer 2 with respect to the substrate 1 about 0.5mm. and adhering both by means of an adhesive agent of chloroprene rubber base or the like. This blade is abutted on a photoreceptor 3 formed with CdS binder base for the conductive layer and an acrylic urethane setting type resin for the surface insulation layer. Thereby, the cleaning characteristic, abrasion resistance and lubricity may be considerably improved.
