Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the titled molding material moldable into an article of good quality having no uneven surface with reduced drying time efficiently, by incorporating a melamine resin-impreganted filler and an inorganic filler with a solid melamine resin.
CONSTITUTION: A solid resin obtained by drying and dehydrating a melamine resin syrup is incorporated with a preliminarily impregnated filler, which is prepared by impregnating a filler, e.g. wood flour, and drying the impregnated wood flour, and contains 10W40wt% the resin, to give the content of the impregnated filler of 20W 30wt% in the total amount of the filler and the melamine resin. The resultant mixture is then incorporated with an inorganic filler, e.g. silica, to give the content of the inorganic filler of 5W30wt% based on the total weight. An additive, e.g. a curing agent, is added thereto if necessary, and the resultant mixture is mixed by a ball mill, and preferably kneaded.
