Abstract

PURPOSE: To lighten a load applied on a bearing and thus to improve durability of the bearing by a construction wherein each impeller of three eccentric liquid- sealed pumps is supported with a common rotary shaft, and the impellers are provided counterwise each other eccentrically.
CONSTITUTION: A single-suction pump 2 is provided on both ends of a common rotary shaft 1, and a double-suction pump 3 is provided at the center. An impeller of said suction pump 2 and an impeller of the double-suction pump 3 are set counterwise each other eccentrically. According to this constitution, the direction of a radial thrust load applied on the rotary shaft 1 from the single-suction pump 2 and the direction of a radial thrust load applied on the rotary shaft 1 from the double- suction pump 3 become counter each other, therefore a load on a bearing is lightened, and thus a durability of the bearing can be improved.
