Abstract

PURPOSE: To lighten a burden applied on a bearing and a deflection arising on a rotary shaft by providing impellers of two liquid-sealed pumps counterwise each other eccentrically in an eccentric position in a casing.
CONSTITUTION: Two eccentric liquid-sealed pumps 2 are provided on a common rotary shaft 1, impellers are arranged counter each other eccentrically, and a port plate 9 having a suction port 7 and a discharge port 8 is arranged adjacently thereto. Such a constitution may cause radial thrust loads working on the rotary shaft 1 from impellers 4 of pumps 2 to be counter each other, therefore a burden applied on a bearing supporting the rotary shaft 1 and the radial thrust loads arising on the rotary shaft 1 can be lightened.
