Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the titled recorder which is simple in structure and capable of conducting a clear multicolor recording by a method wherein a plurality of jet heads are arranged radially so that the ink jet paths are focused on the same point on the recording surface for each n-th stage. CONSTITUTION:In the multicolor ink jet recorder wherein jet heads 2, 3, 4 each having (n) stages of ink-jetting ports and being fed respectively with ink 8, 9, 10 from tanks 11, 12, 13 through tubes 14 are fixed to a slider 6 moved rightward and leftward on a guide shaft 7, the tip end part of each of the heads 2, 3, 4 is formed in a thin shape along the row of plural ink-jetting ports, and the heads 2, 3, 4 are arranged on the slider 6 in a radial manner so that the ink droplets jetted from the n-th stage of the ink-jetting ports of each head are converged on the focus 5 for the n-th stage on the recording paper 1.
