Abstract

PURPOSE: To powdery agricultural chemical composition, producing dust very slightly in dusting, and prepared by adding a petroleum resin, polystyrene, polyvinyl acetate, epoxy resin, etc. having a specific viscosity in specified amounts to a powdery inorganic carrier of specific standard particle size, and incorporating an active constituent in the resultant mixture.
CONSTITUTION: A petroleum resin, polystyrene, polyvinyl acetate, epoxy resin, chlorinated paraffin, didodecyl phthalate, lanolin, nonylphenol or lecithin having a viscosity ≥40 cst at 100°F in an amount of 0.2W3wt% based on the total weight is added to a powdery inorganic carrier, and an active constituent, e.g. an organophosphorus insecticide or acaricide, is then incorporated in the resultant mixture. to give a powdery agricultural chemical composition. 40wt% or less the particles in the powdery inorganic carrier have a particle size of 10μ or less, and the carrier has a particle size of substantially 46μ or less.
