Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a polyester powdered paint in which the dispersibility of carbon black is enhanced and black brillance is improved, consisting of a polyester powdered paint resin contg. a hydroxylated tert. -amine component in the polymer molecule, a hardener and a pigment.
CONSTITUTION: There is provided a powdered paint consisting of (A) a polyester powdered paint resin contg. a hydroxylated tert. -amine component of formula I (wherein R1 is alkyl, aryl; R2, R3 are alkylene) or formula II (wherein R2, R3, R4 are alkylene) in the polymer molecule, (B) a hardener and (C) a pigment. An example of the cpd. of the formula I is N,N-di(β-hydroxyethyl)aniline. An example of the cpd. of the formula II is ethanolamine. An example of the hardener B is ε-caprolactam-blocked isophorone diisocyanate-trimethylolpropane adduct. As the pigment C, carbon black is particularly used.
