Abstract

PURPOSE: To measure accuately fluctuation of the water bottom level even from the place, by leading out conductors for electric circuit constant measurement from plural pairs of electrodes, which are arranged at the known interval into a line, so that they can be related to positions of respective pairs of electrodes.
CONSTITUTION: When measurement is started after variable resistor VR1 is adjusted according to water to set a dot recording width, the line connecting measure electrode 6 of electrode bar selected by switch S1 and the common electrode becomes the side to be measured, and an AC voltage is applied to output an unbalanced voltage corresponding to the impedance of interposing materials from transformer T2. This output is converted to a DC by demodulator 11 and is recorded with dots in the recording paper position, which is displaced from the reference point according to the impedance, by recorder 12.
