Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a medium of unified quality for the optical recording use having high sensitivity and resolution even in the near ultraviolet rays area and excellent mechanical strength by a method wherein Te or a Te compound containing the Te element is evaporated to form an organic discharge polymerized film containing Te. CONSTITUTION:Organic monomer gas (for example; styrenes) or a mixed gas with inert gases such as Ar, N2 and the like is introduced into a reaction container 1 made vacuum from a gas intake 2 by 10-10<-3>mm.Hg and a high frequency voltage of 13.56MHz is applied to a high frequency electrode 4 to produce a discharge. Together with this, Te or the Te compound (for example; PbTe) is heated and evaporated from a vaporizing heater 5 to form an organic discharge polymerized film containing Te or the Te compound on a substrate 3. EFFECT:Two kinds of readings such as a transmitting type and a reflection type can be made by means of a laser projection, thereby obtaining high contrast ratio.
