Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtafn a printing roll durable for the long time use which has an excellent workability and is coated with copper electrically precipitated containing polyacrylamide (derivative) on a substrate such as cast-iron cylinder and the like.
CONSTITUTION: In an electrolyte bath preferably containing 50W500ppm of polyacrylamide (derivative) (preferably having the polymerization degree of 5,000W 30,000), copper is electrically precipitated to a cylinder substrate made of cast iorn, and then, coating is performed with the electrically precipitated copper containing the abovementioned polyacrylamide (derivative) as carbon quantity of 100ppm or more to the thickness preferably approximately 100W500μ to obtain the aimed printing roll.
