Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The coolant drawn up from a tank by a pump 17 is supplied and filled up in the grinder guard 15 from a supply port 16. At the same time, the phenomenon that the coolant accompanies the rotation of the grinding wheel 14 causes the flow of the coolant toward the collecting port 19, circulates the coolant within the guard 15, the grinding wheel 14 is cooled constantly by the coolant in the gaurd 15 and thus the thermal expansion of the grinding wheel 14 is prevented.
