Abstract

PURPOSE: To keep hot water supply temperature constant by making the flow ratio of hot water and cold water with the aperture of a water side valve made smaller than that of a hot water side valve and water flow resistance raised.
CONSTITUTION: Check valve portions 19 and 20 are provided on upper course side and a valve 23 opens only when flow occurs from the upper course side thereof. A cold water side valve is formed so that the aperture thereof may become smaller than that of a hot water side valve and the water flow resistance thereof may become high. The flow of hot water or cold water is determined depending on the pres sure on the upper course side of a flow regulator 10 or the pressure of a pressure control chamber 13 respectively. A back-pressure chamber 17 communicates with the upper course side hot water passage of the flow regulator 10 via a communicating hole 18, and the pressure on the upper course side of the regulator 10 and the pressure of the chamber 13 becomes equal. Since the flow ratio of hot water and cold water becomes constant despite the initial pressures thereof so that hot water supply temperature can be made constant.
