Abstract

PURPOSE: To avoid occurrence of the internal pressure by shifting the piston in accordance with the expansion of volume, thus ensuring an accurate measurement of pressure at all times.
CONSTITUTION: The downward pressure of the pressure plate 23 is applied to the surface of the Si diaphragm 10 from one direction and via the insulating oil 25, and at the same time the rear surface of the diaphragm 10 is opened to the air. Accordingly, the diaphragm 10 causes a distortion corresponding to the pressure and then produces the electric signal in corresponding to the pressure. In such constitution, the piston 24 moves in the airtight state and in accordance with the expansion of volume although the ambient temperature rises up to give an expansion to the volume of the oil 25, thus preventing occurrence of the internal pressure. In other words, the zero-point fluctuation is never caused for the diaphragm 10 functioning as a pressure sensor according to the ambient temperature, thus always ensuring an accurate measurement of pressure.
