Abstract

PURPOSE: To rationalize a measurement work without damage of a measurement precision and reproducibility, by providing an arm so that this arm can move toward and back from the sample piece held by a sample holding means and by detecting stress acting upon the arm by a detector.
CONSTITUTION: Two ring-shaped holding frames 19 and 20 are provided at a prescribed interval coaxially to round table 13 so that sample piece 2 may be held with both ends supported freely in the peripheral part of the upper face of table 13, and prescribed-depth ring groove 21 is provided between holding frames 19 and 20, and many holding grooves 22a and 22b are formed at a prescribed-angle interval in the radius direction of table 13. Meanwhile, small hole 23 is provided in the peripheral part of table 13 on the extending line of holding grooves 22a and 22b, and thus, sample piece 2 can be set to the meaurement state only by putting sample piece 2 on the sample holding means simply. As a result, the measurement work can be rationalized considerably.
