Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce work amount of an operator in a pump station for controlling a river of irrigation or drain by controlling automatically blade angle of a movable blade pump by the use of a computer.
CONSTITUTION: Measurements of level gauges 1, 2 installed upstream and downstream of pump equipment are cyclically supplied to the input of a computer and actual lift ΔH of the pump is figured out from the difference between these measurements. A blade angle capable of maintaining a target stream is figured out from this actual lift ΔH and a target flow by a pump characteristic constant stored beforehand in the computer (stored as a constant by plotting the relationship between the blade angle-actual lift-flow from the pump characteristic curve). Namely, H1, H2 are figured out from signals of the level gauges 1, 2 by computers 11, 12 for figuring out average level value. A block 13 figures out the actual lift ΔH. A block 14 using this figured-out value and target flow obtains a target blade angle θxy and compareds it with a blade angle θ at present. When the difference between both angles exceeds a predetermined value, the output indication increase or decrease of blade angle corresponding to that difference is generated.
