Abstract
PURPOSE:To considerably reduce the number of mold molding steps in particular, and improve the yield of molten metal by inserting a refractory nozzle having small holes at the end part connected to the discharge port of a ladle directly into a mold and pouring molten metal while gradually pulling this up. CONSTITUTION:A stopper valve 8 is lifted to allow the molten metal 10 in a ladle 11 to discharge from the inside of a nozzle 16 into a mold 6 through the small holes 15 at the end part. Along with the rise in the level 17 of the molten metal 10, the ladle 11, that is, the nozzle 16, is gradually pulled up so that the high temp. part of the molten meta 10 moves gradually to the upper part at all times. The molten metal 10 fills in both parts of the mold 6 and head 7 and when its level 17 reaches the head upper limit 4, the discharge port 9 of the ladle 11 is closed by a valve 8 and the ladle 11 is parted from the molding flask.
