Abstract

PURPOSE: To suck residual air, prevent the formation of cavities and mold products of uniform density by providing suction holes in an injection sleeve and a cavity and evacuating their inside therethrough.
CONSTITUTION: After molten metal A is teemed through a teeming port 11 of an injection sleeve 7, a plunger rod 9 is advanced and a plunger tip 10 closes a pouring port 11. A switch lever 19 operates a limit switch 20 to open the valve 15 in a suction route 14 to suck the residual air through a sleeve side suction hole 12 into the sleeve 7 by evacuating effect. At the same time, it opens a valve 18 to suck the residual air into a cavity 6 by evacuating effect, thereby creating a vacuum state in the sleeve 7 and the cavity 6. When the tip 10 advances further and closes the hole 12 in succession to this, the lever 19 operates a switch 21 to close the valve 15, thereby closing the route 14. Further when the tip 10 advaces and completes injection of the molten metal A into the cavity 6, the valve 18 as closed to close a suction route 17, and this completes the injection process.
