Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a polyol compsn. which is used for the production of a flame- retarded rigid urethane foam and in which storage stability is improved, by a method wherein a phosphorus-contg. flame retarder and a double bond-contg. dibasic acid tin salt catalyst are incorporated into a polyol compsn. for use in the production of urethane foams.
CONSTITUTION: A phosphorus-contg. flame retarder and a double bond-contg. dibasic acid tin salt catalyst are incorporated into a polyol compsn. consisting of a polyol, a blowing agent, a catalyst and other auxiliaries, said polyol compsn. being used for the production of urethane foams. Examples of the double bond-contg. dibasic acid tin salt catalysts used are cpd. of formulas I and II (wherein R is a double bond-contg. dibasic acid residue; R1, R2, R3, R4 are alkyl; m≥1). As the R gp., maleic acid residue is preferred. As the polyols, tert.-amino gp.-contg. polyols (A), hydroxyalkylated polyhydric alcohol (B) and a mixt. thereof [e.g. in a weight ratio of (A) to (B) of 10:90W70:30] are preferred.
