Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a heat-sensitive material which can record excellent images by allowing the heat-sensitive coloring layer containing a leuco color and an organic acid to contain a specific higher straight-chain glycol and stearyl acetylamine in order to improve dreg-attaching, sticking and pressure-coloring. CONSTITUTION:(A) a colorless or light-colored leuco color, (B) one part (weight) mixture with an organic acid or a phenol substance which colors when reacting with the A component on heating, (C) 0.05-2.0pts. (weight) a higher straight- chain glycol represented by the general formula (R is alkyl radical of C10-30), (D) 0.5-4pts. (weight) stearyl acetylamine per 1pt. (weight) C component, and (E) a binder are mixed and dispersed in a solvent to prepare a heat-sensitive coloring layer-forming liquid, which is applied to a support, and dried to form a heat-sensitive coloring layer.
