Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent grains from damages due to unexpected accidents by providing sensors in at least two positions of a discharge tube of a spring conveyer for transferring grains or the like to adjust transferring speed according to the operational condition of the sensors.
CONSTITUTION: A spring 9 of a spring conveyer rotated by a prime mover 15 transfers grains or the like in a transferring tube 1 and supplies them from an expanded terminal portion 3 through a discharge tube 13 to a hopper 41 and others. When the discharge tube 13 is clogged with grains, the lower sensor 37 detects the clogging and is turned on to decelerate the prime mover 15. When the upper sensor 39 also is turned on, the prime mover 15 is stopped. When the sensor is turned off, the transfer of the spring conveyer is resumed. Thus, whenever the discharge tube of the spring conveyer is clogged with grains or the like, the spring conveyer is immediately stopped to prevent the grains from damage.
