CONSTITUTION:When addresses A0-A11 are input to ROM unit 10 for program read, upper four bits A0-A3 are input to the input-side terminal group of ROM12 and are converted to addresses D0-D3. These converted addresses and addresses A4-A11 are input to ROM matrix 11 through address register 13, and 32-bit word data (program) is read by addresses D0-D3. Thus, in case that the memory block where the program is changed is accessed, the object of memory access is automatically converted to the block where the program after change exists. Consequently, a waste of ROM element exchange can be reduced.
