Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the short circuit stream in a draft agitation tank, by providing a transverse diffusion hole group besides the longitudinal diffusion hole group in the draft agitater, in an aeration tank of the active mud disposal device for waste water disposal, and so on. CONSTITUTION:Water tank 3 is provided with flow inlet 1 and flow outlet 2 for the liquid to be disposed. Gas is blown from diffusion tubes 4 and 4 for turning agitation, which are provided in the longitudinal direction of water tank 3, to agitate the liquid by forming turning currents, and simultaneously, gas is flown from diffusion tube 7 for short circuit stream prevention which is provided between diffusion tubes 4 and 4 for turning agitation and extends in the transverse direction. Thus, sections partitioning turning pressed-out stream of the liquid to be disposed are aerated further, so that the short circuit stream is prevented with the simple means to agitate the liquid sufficiently without installing obstructive plates and partitions in the agitation tank or using the water tank of an excessive large capacity.
