Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of scum and purify sewage efficiently by providing an aeration tand overflowing air diffused sewage from partition walls, an expelling and debubbling part to the upper part for partitioning the aerating tank from the bottom verticvally to prescribed height, and a stabilizing tank in the lower part.
CONSTITUTION: Air forcibly fed from an outside blower 10 through air piping 9 is made into fine bubbles and diffused by an air diffuser 8 installed horizontally to the lower part of an aerating tank 2. Separately, the sewage to be treated introduced and dispersed into the tank 2 from a sewage upplying tank via a distributing tank 11 through a sewage piping 12 then through a perforated sewage distributing pipe 13 installed horizontally to the lower part of the tank 2. The mixed liquid stirred by air diffusion overflows from partition walls 6 and flows into a stabilizing tank 3. The water corresponding to the amt. of the inflow sewage flows the tank 3 into an inverted flow separation tank 4 via a constricted flow passage 22 below a baffle 19 and is released from a circulating sludge bed 29 to the outside through a supernatant part 28.
