Abstract
PURPOSE: To save energy in both of air-conditioning and cooling systems, by utilizing the heat possessed by waste cooling water (cooling water after use) for heating of an air conditioner, and thereby lowering the temperature of the waste cooling water.
CONSTITUTION: Cold water in a cold-water source 1 is sent to apparatus 6W9 to be cooled and then returned to a hot-water tank 11. The waste cooling water (hot) stored in tank 11 is sent to a heat exchanger 14, and after being cooled by the heat exchanger 14, it is returned to cold-water tank 1. Here, a portion of hot water in tank 11 is sent to an auxiliary heating 29 in an air conditioner 24 for preheating and reheating cold dehumidified air passed through a cooling element of the air conditioner by the heat possessed by the waste cooling water, so that the thermal energy imparted to the air can be saved. On the other hand, since the temperature of waste cooling water to be cooled by heat exchanger 14 is lowered through heat exchanging with the air, it is enabled to reduce the load of heat exchanger 14.
