Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent an accident from occurring by providing a car-mounted radio receiver with a receiving circuit semifixed at a specific frequency in addition to another receivering circuit which can be tuned by the driver and by enabling this receiving circuit to receive drive information such as traffic information. CONSTITUTION:An input signal from antenna 3 is applied to the 1st receiving circuit 1 which can be turned by the driver and to the 2nd receiving circuit 2, fixed or semifixed at a specific frequency, which receives traffic information. The output of this circuit 2 is applied to comparing circuit 4, which compares it with a signal, corresponding to the driving speed of the car, from the speedometer to send its output to switch circuit 5. Then, outputs of circuits 1 and 2 are both applied to switch circuit 5, the output of which can be sent out of loudspeaker 6 automatically or being selected by the driver. Thus, the occurrrence of a traffic accident is prevented by using drive information such as traffic information received by circuit 2.
